The network is operated by NIRAN Limited, a company jointly owned by its core members, the four Higher Education Institutions and six Further Education Colleges in Northern Ireland. A Board of Directors - comprising senior representatives from the core members - has overall responsibility for the management and governance of the network and its services. Supporting the Board is a Management Committee consisting of representatives from all the member institutions. The Board and Management committees meet quarterly.
